Good To Know

Do you offer faucet repair on all three islands?

Yes. We repair kitchen, bathroom, tub and shower faucets on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. Our crews work out of Waipahu and Makawao, and we serve the Big Island as a service area. When you call, we schedule a visit based on your location and let you know a realistic arrival window.

Is it better to repair or replace a leaking faucet?

Repair is usually the better choice when the faucet body is in good shape and the problem is a worn cartridge, washer, seal or O-ring. Replacement often makes more sense if the faucet is cracked, heavily corroded or parts are no longer made. We check the faucet, explain what we find and give you prices for both options.

Why does my faucet still drip after I turn it off?

A drip usually means a seal inside the faucet is no longer closing tightly. In older compression faucets, the rubber washer has worn or hardened. In cartridge and ceramic disc faucets, the cartridge or its O-rings have worn out. Mineral buildup can also keep the valve from seating. Replacing the worn part typically stops the drip.

Why does water come out of my tub spout and showerhead at once?

This usually points to a worn diverter, the part that sends water either to the tub spout or up to the showerhead. When it wears out or collects mineral buildup, it no longer seals fully, so water splits between both. Depending on your fixture, the fix may be a new spout with a built-in diverter or a repair inside the valve.
